Language, Mind, Technology #LMT is an interdisciplinary MA programme conducted in English. The programme lies at the intersection of humanities and social sciences, focusing on the study of language and mind using modern tools and computational methods. The aim of #LMT is to acquaint students with theoretical and practical knowledge on a number of topics related to the description, research and analysis of language using intelligent information systems.
Degree course assets
This Master’s program is aimed at university graduates who are interested in discovering the relationship between mind and language, and in developing their analytical and experimental skills. #LMT offers students the opportunity to participate in workshops or lectures conducted by entrepreneurs and experts in interdisciplinary research on language and data science. Also, planned study visits to companies will develop students’ practical skills.
Selected study areas
This programme focuses on an integrated approach to linguistic research, combining theoretical and experimental perspectives from fields of science such as psycholinguistics, cognitive neuroscience, clinical linguistics, computational linguistics and artificial intelligence. In the course of the studies, students will acquire knowledge and tools related to computer science which will allow them to discover answers to key questions in interdisciplinary language research.
