II Doctoral Symposium in Exact Sciences
We invite PhD students to participate in the II Doctoral Symposium in Exact Sciences, which will be held May 27-29, 2025, at "Dom Pracy Twórczej w Ciążeniu" in Poland.
This event provides a unique opportunity to present research, refine presentation skills, and engage in discussions with peers and faculty. The program includes scientific sessions, keynote lectures, and a workshop on effective scientific presentations.
Participation is fully funded, covering meals, accommodation, and transportation from Poznań to Ciążeń and back.

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Vito Lippolis (University of Cagliari, Italy) will deliver an invited lecture entitled “Bond Valence Model: the ‘Occam’s Razor’ for a Starting Approach to the Interpretation of Weak Interactions such as Halogen and Chalcogen Bonding” as part of the conference programme.
Prof. Vito Lippolis obtained his PhD from the University of Nottingham and has held the Chair of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Cagliari since 2001. He is the author of over 370 peer-reviewed publications and six book chapters, with an h-index of 49. His research focuses on supramolecular chemistry, coordination chemistry of macrocyclic ligands, and the study of halogen and chalcogen bonding in molecular recognition and crystal engineering.
