- częste mycie rąk (polsko-angielskie instrukcje mycia rąk znajdą się we wszystkich ogólnodostępnych toaletach w budynkach uczelni),
- prowadzenie samoobserwacji stanu swojego zdrowia i szybką wizytę u lekarza w przypadku jego pogorszenia.

All classes suspended until March 24, 2020
Based on recent developments AMU has decided to temporarily suspend individual exchange of students and academic staff with the following countries: People’s Republic of China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Iran, Thailand, Taiwan and Italy, effective February 26th, 2020.
All students and staff incoming from the above mentioned countries are advised to refrain from taking part in classes/lectures/public meetings/gatherings within the two-week period following their arrival from abroad as a common-sense and safety precaution.
Steps have been taken to supply all University buildings with clear instructions on how to wash your hands thoroughly. Soon, all University bathrooms will also be supplied with special disinfectants and hand sanitizers. The Polish Ministry of Public Health has launched a hotline (in Polish and English- for all those wish to learn more about potential treatment options, shall the neccessity arise: 800-190-590 (for English press “6”).
All students and visitors who have travelled from those designated countries to Poland in the last 14 days or have been in a situation potentially carrying the risk of a corona virus infection AND develop symptoms of cough, fever or shortness of breath, should immediately contact their insurance provider and check-in to the nearest designated hospital.

If you have not travelled or been in a situation potentially carrying the risk of a corona virus infection, please exercise standard caution, stay indoors if feeling sick and avoid contact with other people as you would during the regular flu season.
EU/EFTA citizens and everybody with a Polish National Health Fund insurance and in an emergency, may register with the nearest primary care physician (general practitioner – public medical care), every weekday from 8 am till 6 pm.

We are asking all of you to take simple, common-sense precautions to avoid close contact with large gatherings of people, like you would with other flu viruses, take special care of your personal hygiene and remember about washing your hands for at least 30 seconds each time.
The University also ensures all students, staff members, visitors and their families that under no circumstances should particular choices regarding public or individual health be made based on ethnic prejudice, rasist or otherwise xenophobic attitudes.
The virus knows no race, ethnic background, religion nor a color of skin!
