2022 National Tsing Hua University Global Summer School

We are glad to inform you that the 2022 National Tsing Hua University Global Summer School (NTHU GSS) is now open for applications. Foreign students from all countries are welcome to this event! NTHU is a renowned comprehensive research university in Taiwan with the highest rate of faculty winning national academic accolades and the most US patent holdings among Taiwan universities (world ranking: 11th) given its medium size of ~800 full-time faculty members and 15,000 students. It is among the top 2 universities in Taiwan, ranking 168th in the world according to the latest QS report with several specific disciplines ranking in the top 100.

The 2022 National Tsing Hua University Global Summer School (NTHU GSS) offers 5 courses including cutting-edge energy issues, life sciences, arts and humanities topics. Furthermore, we have a Basic Mandarin Course, and we'll arrange extracurricular cultural tours to enrich students' experience of Taiwanese rich culture. All courses are taught in English, except for Basic Mandarin Course. Please note that NTHU accept no more than 20 participants this year.

Apply to the AMU exchange coordinator till May 5, 2022 following the procedures.

Program A: Academic Program

  • 2 In-class Lectures (total 36 hours, offer 2 credits)

Program B: Mandarin+Academic Program

  • 1 In-class Lecture (total 18 hours, offer 1 credit)
  • Three-week intensive Mandarin course (total 36 hours, offer 2 credits)
