The Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts in Kalisz of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań has a unique specificity, bringing together research, teaching and art. It combines the humanities, social and artistic sciences.

The institution in Kalisz can boast forty-year history, dating back to the mid-1980s. The journal SSLLT (“Studies in Second Language Learning and Teaching”) is published here, ranked among the top twenty linguistic periodicals in the world, which is devoted to the teaching of the second language.

The Faculty‘s Chamber Choir as well as individual artists and scientists had outstanding international successes.

Located in Kalisz, the branch of Adam Mickiewicz University consists of over a hundred researchers and educators, and about a thousand students in first and second-cycle studies as well as long-cycle studies in Master's degree programmes.

The Faculty offers art studies (art education in the field of musical arts, and fine art education in the field of visual arts) as well as studies in the humanities and social disciplines (English philology and education, Polish philology, scientific information and library science, protection of cultural property, pedagogy, pre-school and early primary school education).

The Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts cooperates intensively with the socio-economic environment: the media, local government, cultural and art institutions, and the fashion industry.

It conducts patronage classes and workshops for students of various educational levels, organizes postgraduate studies and training courses. Numerous open events take place here: exhibitions, concerts, conferences, meetings with authors and employers.

The Faculty not only coordinates events in the city space, but also organizes voluntary service for charity fundraising, donating blood or searching for bone marrow donors.

Studying in Kalisz allows for an intimate atmosphere with access to all opportunities offered by Adam Mickiewicz University: foreign exchange, grants and projects under the Initiative of Excellence - Research University, EPICUR European University, or University of Tomorrow programs.

The campus of the Faculty is located on four hectares of green area in the center of Kalisz, which has its own parking lot and is adjacent to the Student Dormitory.
